All of their gear is Chinese made crap. I know because I tested everything from every box. They haven't had anything new in 2 years. They are only around to try and suck as many people dry as they can. Half their stuff comes already broken and if it isn't, it will be shortly after opening. Even their back packs were trash. Uncomfortable to use and tore with minimal weight.

I have been a subscriber for a few months now, mainly to get some of the past boxes cheaper. I would say its very hit and miss on the quality of gear. Almost all of it is cheap crap made in China. For a company that is gung ho about 'Merica, almost all its stuff is made and sourced in China. On top of it, the shipping service they use is super slow. I get my monthly subscription box usually i the later half of the month; usually in week 3 or 4. They charge 15$ for shipping and it takes 3 weeks to ship? Are they using the Pony express (which was probably faster). I will most likely be cancelling my subscription this month depending on the junk and stupid theme they come up with this month. Oh, thats another thing, they dont even tell you what the monthly box is until you get it...almost a month later. No option to cancel or preview.

Don't get back to you when there's an issue

Ordered 2 jackets 1 x me s & 1 x womens. I used the measurement chart on their site to ensure i ordered the correct sizes. Measure shoulder to shoulder, and shoulder to wrist, and chest. I then ordered the jackets according to their size chart. However when they arrived both were too small i contacted customer service and read their return policy which says if you receive the wrong size (different from our size chart) we will send you a replacement. When i advised them of their policy i have had no reply since. This is *** DONT GET SUCKED INTO BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY ALPHA OUTDOORS.COM

They sent me TWO of the SAME box this last month claiming I had added a second account. Tried to get it rectified and after 7 or 8 emails I give up. Just canceled after over two years. What a bunch of jerks. And the Muzak music while on hold is horrible and now I know why. I spent over an hour on hold over two phone calls to them.

I ordered a coat that was horrible and was told they don’t give refunds. It’s being disputed by my bank. Shortly after, unauthorized purchases showed up on my account. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I have reached out to this company SEVERAL times regarding charges to my bank acct for $50.90 each. There were 3 of these charges every month. They said it was for a subscription? I told them I did NOT approve this, nor did I get anything from this. Last month they said the debits would stop as they would close "my" account. Today I was hit with TWO charges each for $50.90!! I have tried to reach them, but get no responses. The phone number is some guys cell phone, on which my calls now go directly to vm.. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!

It isn't very often an on-line company has exceptional customer service, but ALPHA OUTPOST has proven their's to be world-class! My first experience was whenI mistakenly triple-ordered a subscription, Alpha Outpost's distribution/customer service recognized a possible issue and immediately contacted me. This occurred so quickly that I hadn't realized the issue even existed! In one fell swoop, Alpha Outpost prevented multiple items from leaving their distribution center and relieved me of the need to coordinate and return the items. When a recent order was not delivered when expected the issue was resolved within 5 minutes of contacting customer service via Messenger. All of the communication I've had with Alpha Outpost, whether it was by voice, email, or Messenger has been professional and the results have been amazingly fast!

I enjoyed receiving my boxes each month until they stopped putting much of any instructions in the boxes to save on money I am guessing. When I went to cancel my subscription the Customer Service was awful! They told me I had another month to go when I had already finished my subscription by several months. They did not bother to look up my account to check and their return e-mails were extremely rude! They also did not both to sign the e-mails so I would know who I was talking with. Makes me sad to end with them this was as I did enjoy the boxes for a bit.

I ordered a past box as a Christmas present for my Father. It was decent. I decided I’d take the following month too. I got a 30$ crossbow in my 50$ package........ and a cheap 5$ knife. Then I decided I didn’t want them and they wanted to charge me 35$ to cancel. So Ignored them. Now they’re calling me and I explained I was told verbally st first that I could cancel at any time. Then after I tried cancelling I was going to be charged. Even after I told them I cannot afford payments becuase I had to pay off my Vehicke rebuild they still wanted to charge me the cancellation fee! I told them this twice! Yet I still have to pay it. Absolutely no understanding whatsoever and the items are *** there needs to be more of a focused item and once again BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE . Sympothatht will get you a long way Alpha Outpost, learn some.

Alpha Outpost Subscription Boxes

I have been a subscriber to Alpha Outpost for the past 5 months. Each month, I have received a very good collection of themed items worth every penny spent for them. Each time I have been able to use the items either as part of my EDC, enjoying the outdoors or just giving items to very appreciative friends. Each time I have contacted customer service I have been met with kindness as well as efficiency. No problems here. If you are looking for a box that is fun, usable and diverse in it contents then Alpha Outpost should be your choice. If you are looking for a monthly box that incorporates all items sent into a mission of sorts, that fits the larger picture of items sent in the past, then there is no question that Alpha Outpost should be one of your choices! I have enjoyed each and every box Alpha Outpost has sent me, as well as have ordered 3 previous boxes from them. I look forward to what is coming next!

I can't say enough Alpha Outpost is a Complete ripoff .... After 3 months of receiving cheap subscription junk from Alpha Outpost I tried to cancel my monthly subscription they tried black mailing me into staying. They said I could wait and stay for 3 more months or pay a one month cancellation fee or an amount equal to 100% of the monthly box rate. Are you kidding me. They sent me the terms agreement link which in small letters in the middle it states this. What company does this to its customers. If a customer is not happy recieving $10 knives from china and charging $50 for it then they should allow their customers to cancel the subscription. Ripoff, Ripoff,Ripoff. Well they can keep my $40 for the cancelation fee and I'll spend that on an hourly rampage to make sure everyone knows about the scam artist they are and thier ridiculous fees and to warn everyone to stay clear of Alpha Outpost. ....On a side note don't leave them a negative review becouse they will tell you that you are wrong and you put yourself in this predicament.. once again customer service at its finest I hope everyone else enjoys thier plastic and made in China crap we will probably get tetanus from it all...................

Alpha Outpost’ s refund policy and customer service is unsatisfactory.

This company does not listen to its customers and tries to milk said customers for every dime.

The irony is people would willingly pay top dollar for great products and customer service.

I have been a subscriber for a few months and am very happy with the quality of the products I get on a monthly basis. At first I was concerned about the stuff that I will be getting as I had no idea what exactly would be in each month's package. But after the first few boxes all I can say is WOW. These guys are great. I was happily referred by a coworker and have yet to be disappointed. I will be telling more friend about these guys going forward. I will definitely continue to be a happy customer as long as the quality of the boxes continue like they have been! - A happy customer-

Cancellation Fee

So after trying the box for one month and then attempting to cancel I was notified that there was a cancellation fee per the terms of service. It is buried in the terms of service and difficult to see.This company is ridiculous and will never last. People will catch on. They do not notify you when you make the purchase that there is any cancellation fee and they offer a sign up special to get you to join the subscription knowing that you will have to pay the cancellation fee once your useless items arrive. The products are low quality. You better off going to an army surplus store every month, closing your eyes, and purchasing the first thing you touch. I will be filing complaints with the BBB and disputing the charge with my credit card company. I encourage everyone else to do the same.

I found all the terms before I paid for anything so you just didn't look hard enough but I am also cancelling mine knowing from the beginning there will be a fee because they will still send one more box
